Wake'n'Make is a Bay Area–based creative studio and fabrication collective dedicated to building immersive, interactive, and experimental works. We exist at the intersection of art, engineering, and play — where ambitious ideas are shaped into tangible experiences.
Wake'n'Make exists to dissolve the boundary between making things and making meaning. We support and produce creative work that uses light, sound, motion, computation, and physical systems to invite participation, spark wonder, and create shared moments of experience.
Our projects are designed to be felt, explored, and inhabited — not just observed. We believe that large-scale, hands-on making is a powerful cultural practice, and that art thrives in environments where tools, skills, and curiosity are shared.
Wake'n'Make functions simultaneously as:
From early experiments to fully realized installations, we help ideas move from sketch to structure.
The Wake'n'Make shop provides tools, workspace, and infrastructure to support ambitious creative projects. Members gain access to shared equipment, fabrication resources, and a community of makers working across disciplines.
The shop exists in service of the work — enabling artists and builders to take risks, learn by doing, and create at scale.
Wake'n'Make welcomes artists, engineers, fabricators, and curious makers who want to create meaningful experiences in the physical world.
